The dental practice that is now known as Matthew J. Fiorentino DDS & Associates was first established at the corner of Kirkville Road and Washburn Drive in East Syracuse, NY, in the 1960s. Since 1991, the office has been located at our current location - 6431 Kirkville Road. Our practice has been providing outstanding patient care for more than 60 years, and our dentists meet all national and state training and licensing requirements.

Matthew J. Fiorentino, DDS
Dr. Fiorentino graduated from Syracuse University in 1988 with a BS in Biology. He is also a 1992 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Fiorentino completed his residency in 1993 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
His professional memberships include:

- American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM)
Dr. Fiorentino and his wife are the proud parents of three children.
His hobbies include Syracuse University basketball, fishing, biking, hiking, and the Adirondacks.
Stephanie Niewieroski, DDS
Dr. Niewieroski joined our team in 2012. Her practice areas cover restorative, cosmetic, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. She treats patients of all ages.
A native of Watertown, NY, Dr. Niewieroski earned a BS degree from Clarkson University, an MST from SUNY Potsdam, and her DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed her professional education as the chief resident at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Care Center in Syracuse.
Dr. Niewieroski is a member of the American Dental Association at the national, state, and local levels and a local CNY dentist club. She enjoys camping, spending time with her family and pets, and Syracuse University lacrosse.

Jodi – Administrative Assistant
Jodi joined our dental practice in 2014.
She loves spending her free time with her two dogs, Spike and FeFe LaRue.
Kayleigh – Administrative Assistant
Kayleigh joined our administrative team in 2020. She enjoys spending time at camp with family, going to the beach, and hanging out with her yellow lab, Tywin.
Linda – Administrative Assistant
Linda has been in the dental field since 2011. She joined our team in 2022. In her free time, Linda is an avid card designer.
Elaine – NYS Licensed Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide, RDH
Elaine earned her AS from Erie Community College and completed clinical requirements at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. She joined our office in 2001.
Jessica – NYS Licensed Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide, RDH
Jessica graduated from SUNY Canton Dental Hygiene School in 2014. She is married with four children, a chocolate lab named Stout, and a cat named Mew. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, jet skiing, and snowboarding.
Lucy – NYS Licensed RDH
Lucy joined our team in 2022 with over 25 years experience in both private practice and the academic sector. She brings experience, a commitment to continued education, and enthusiasm for dental hygiene. When she is not traveling back to New Jersey to visit family and friends, Lucy and her husband can be found playing trivia with friends, enjoying time with their two grown sons, and playing with their happy lab named Chloe.
Laurie – NYS Licensed Certified RDA
Laurie has been working as an assistant in our office since 1988. Laurie and her husband, Steve, have been married for 30+ years and have one son.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her dog, Fanny.
Jen - NYS Licensed Certified RDA
Jen joined our team in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
Maureen - Dental Assistant
Maureen joined our team in 2023. She enjoys assisting with all procedures. When not working she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Denise – NYS Licensed Certified RDA
Denise has been with our office since 2014. She enjoys assisting for all procedures and office technical support.
